My History
While working for DCFS for 32 years as a Supervisor, Manager and Regional Administrator, I saw a need to develop a social work program to assist in the development of social service leaders. Great Leaders develop great supervisors and great supervisors develop great social service staff, case managers, and case workers. My staff and I planned and designed effective programs for social service leaders and staff (Case Managers, Specialist, Social Workers, Case Aides, Investigators etc.) to enhance their expertise for successful completion of job expectations. We also devised programs to engage parents and families for support. Thus VHL Consulting was formed.

VHL Consulting will lead staff in areas of self care, assessing services needs, developing and writing service/action plans that meet the individual needs of child and family, completion of reports and case notes, testifying in court hearings and advocating for clients. Motivating families to achieve goals and outcomes.
